Our Very First Foster!

Lucie was our very first foster. She came to us with a need for care for an URI (upper respiratory infection) and socialization from humans. She was shy and hesitant on the first day, but by the end of the first week, she was seeking out attention. Once she was, all bets were off. She would take naps on us or next to us; she would rub up against our legs, and you could hear her little purr engine rev. Our morning routine was quite entertaining. Every morning when we opened the foster room door, she would pop out and meow good morning and throw herself into your legs. Once she was medically cleared, we introduced her to Nyx, our oriental cat. They quickly bonded and started chasing each other all over the house.
