Plex:

In the search for media management the app Plex comes to mind. Plex is a streaming service that allows users to organize and stream their personal media collections, such as movies, TV shows, and music, from a central server to various devices. It also offers free ad-supported content but we're not going to get into that.

UPDATE: Plex decided to add a fee for anyone using remote streaming, with this I decided to pivot to Jellyfin.

Jellyfin:

Jellyfin is the volunteer-built media solution that puts you in control of your media. Stream to any device from your own server, with no strings attached

Jellyseer:

Jellyseerr is a free and open source software application for managing requests for your media library. It integrates with the media server of your choice: Jellyfin, Plex, and Emby.
